Conway Stirrup Straps are webber-style straps with a nylon loop at the top that connects to the stirrup strap ring, with stirrup length adjustments made using a Conway buckle towards the bottom.
These work best for riders who run their stirrup straps under the saddle flap because the stitched overlap where the nylon loop connects to the BioThane strap can rub against the outside of the flap.
These are ideal for less strenuous riding, as the nylon loop may shift sideways and apply torque to the front or back of the stirrup ring if the rider’s legs aren’t in a shoulder-hip-heel alignment.
For the best setup, position the Conway buckle pointing away from the rider’s leg, which directs it forward and away from the horse.
The stirrup straps include a keeper that slides over the Conway hardware and helps hold the tail end of the strap securely in place.
