Bit Hangers

The Evolution Bridle is a versatile, multi-purpose bridle that's designed for flexibility to be used several ways:

- as a cross-under bitless bridle with the included reins - as a sidepull - with a bit - as a lightweight halter

For those who spend a great deal of time on the trail, you know that as the environment changes, your horse’s response changes and you may need more or less input to his behavior.

The Evo Bridle includes an extra-long rein length to enable the cross-under bitless function, which is a step up in pressure from the Sidepull function.

When using the bridle with the cross-under bitless feature, as the reins engage they apply gentle pressure to both the poll and nose for improved communication. Using the bridle in this manner allows the material to "release" when the reins are loosened.

If an Optional Beta Overlay Color is chosen, it will be included on the Browband, Noseband, and the 1/2" portion of the reins ends will be made in the selected color.

If an Optional BioThane or Reflective BioThane overlay color is chosen, it will only be used on the Browband and Noseband. is too stiff and "sticky" to be used on the rein ends. Beta material feels and acts like a synthetic leather and works great for the release function and proper timing to send a clear message to your horse. BioThane has a shiny finish and tends to feel a little plastic-like, which makes it a poor choice for the rein end material. BioThane tends to stick together when layered and would not offer the critical timing release when the reins become slack.

Any of the Optional Overlay Colors and Materials can be used as an overlay on the Reins, please select this as an alternative if you'd prefer to have more pop of color on your setup.

The Evo Bridle has an extra long rein included so that the cross under bitless feature can be used. The bridle can be ordered without this rein; however, please be aware this means the cross under feature becomes unavailable, which limits the bridle's function to a sidepull and a bitted bridle.

Moss Rock's Breast Collar is very flexible and adjustable, and will fit a wide range of equines.

The wither strap includes a snap so that it is simple to attach and remove.

The girth strap includes a snap for easy attachment to the girth dee.

The breast collar is made standard with 3/4" heavy weight material.

If you'd like larger shoulder straps to distribute pressure over a wider piece of material or if you'd just prefer a more substantial appearance the shoulder straps can be upgraded to 1" width material for an additional fee.

Moss Rock's Reins are made with either 5/8" or 3/4" super heavy weight Beta Biothane to provide a strong, supple rein with a leather-like feel and matte finish. These reins offer a pop of color with either beta (matte finish) or biothane (shiny finish) material as an overlay on the ends.

Come standard with conway buckles and swivel snaps to make attaching and removing reins a simple move.

Snaps can be sewn directly to the end of the reins in lieu of conway buckles.

Buckle ends can be chosen in place of snaps.

The Halter Bridle is popular with endurance and trail riders because the halter never has to be removed during a ride. The bit can be quickly added at any time with the adjustable bit hangers. This 'Lite' version omits the halter squares on the nose band that may cause rubs on some horses.

The bit hangers can also be used to hold hackamore hardware & nosebands, it's extremely versatile!

If an optional overlay is added, the color choice is used on the browband, noseband, and bit hangers. If you'd like the throatlatch to match, please notate this in the Custom Measurements box where you can type a comment.

The browband can move up or down on the poll and crown straps, making this bridle a perfect fit for a wide range of horses. Our Halter Bridles are lighter and more flexible than many others available.
